I saw this car this morning in the parking lot of a parish in my neighborhood.

It's not fair to judge a parish by its parishoners, but I'd venture a guess that this person feels pretty comfortable here.

wow, Just wow

Im not sure if many are familiar with the "FSM" logo, but that is a clear sign of an Atheist, why would an Atheist want to be ordained a Catholic Priest is lost on me.

but then again, why they Dragged Grandma's kitchen table into the sanctuary is lost on me as well.

Grandma's kitchen table! Haha! Yes, the FSM thing just doesn't seem to fit.

I'm not a big fan of the coexist thing, but I get it. I can even posit how a person could be a Catholic and support the coexist idea. But usually it's a sign of indifferentism more than the kind of zeal it takes to go to church on Sunday morning.

And though the yin and yang symbol briefly appears in 4th Century Roman Art (http://www.estovest.net/tradizione/yinyang_en.html), that most 21st Century Johnson Countians think of it in its Taoist use. Taoism isn't philosophically compatible with Catholicism; it's nice and all, but it's not really the sort of thing to do at the same time.

It's a strange parish, that's for sure. With strange parishoners.
